Norfolk and Akwesane residents accused of drug possession in separate incidents

POTSDAM — A Norfolk man was charged with drug possession and aggravated unlicensed operation following a traffic stop on Sisson Street Tuesday night, according to state police.

Robert J. LaRock, 33, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and driving without a license at 9:10 p.m.

He was also cited for controlled substance in non-original container, inadequate windshield wipers and operating a motor vehicle without an inspection certificate, officers said.

He was cited and released.

NORFOLK — An Akwesasne man was charged with drug possession Wednesday morning on SH 56, according to state police.

Trevor D. Swamp, 22, was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony, at 4:20 a.m.

His arrest status was listed as held.
