Man jailed on assault, breathing obstruction charges following dispute in Louisville

LOUISVILLE -- State police say they responded to a reported domestic dispute at 1:50 a.m. Monday morning that led to felony charges against a Norfolk man.

Gerald B. Ware, 41, was charged at 6:55 a.m. with assault with intent to cause physical injury, a felony, third-degree assault with intent to cause injury, criminal obstruction of breathing, fourth-degree criminal mischief for preventing an emergency phone call, all misdemeanors, and second-degree harassment for physical contact, a violation, according to troopers.

State police said he was jailed on cash bail.
