POTSDAM -- A Florida man was hurt in a two-car accident at the entrance to Walmart on Rt. 11 Wednesday.
St. Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies say Gary S. VanHooker, 21, of Otisville was trying to make a left turn into Walmart from Rt. 11 when his vehicle and a vehicle northbound on 11, driven by Joseph L. Seeber, 42, of Casselberry, Fla., collided.
Seeber complained of pain to his right knee, and "signed off with [Potsdam] rescue squad members on scene," the Sheriff's Department's report said.
VanHooker and his passenger, Frank M. Marino, 20, of 200 Main St., Apt. 2-10, Potsdam, were not hurt.
VanHooker got a ticket charging him with failure to yield the right of way turning left. He is to appear in Potsdam Town Court.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by Potsdam fire and rescue units.
