WADDINGTON – St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies said they charged a man with drug possession Thursday after he was allegedly found in possession of mushrooms and ecstasy pills on State Highway 37.
Manuel T. Miller IV, 21, Theresa, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony, for possessing about 5.7 grams of hallucinogenic, deputies said.
He was also charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance for possessing ecstasy pills.
Miller was additionally charged with unlicensed operation for driving a vehicle without a license.
Deputies were assisted on scene by Border Patrol and the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force.
Miller was arraigned in Canton court and released under the supervision of probation to appear in court at a later date, officers said.
