POTSDAM – Potsdam police said they arrested a man Monday for criminal sale of marijuana and criminal possession of a controlled substance following an investigation by members of the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force.
John P. Weigman, 21, Rockville Centre, was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of marijuana, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and fifth degree criminal possession of marijuana, police said.
Police said Wiegman was arrested at 8:05 p.m. at the Potsdam Police Department.
He was issued appearance tickets returnable to Potsdam Village Court Dec. 21 at 9:30 a.m., officers said.
