CANTON — A Madrid man was charged with possessing dangerous prison contraband Wednesday stemming from a Nov. 22 complaint, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Michael B. Middlemiss, 28, was charged with first-degree possession of dangerous prison contraband, felony, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree promoting prison contraband, officers said.
He was allegedly in possession of a sublingual suboxone strip and hydroxyzine pills while he was incarcerated at St. Lawrence County Jail, deputies said.
Middle miss was arraigned in Canton court and held on $500 bail, officers said.
