OSWEGATCHIE -- A Heuvelton woman faces multiple charges, including one felony, after she was allegedly found to be driving while on drugs Friday, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.
Katie Beamis, 27, was charged with felony driving while ability impaired by drugs, failure to keep right, unlicensed operation and failure to use care approaching a horse on the Irish Settlement Road.
Deputies say a drug recognition expert was used to determine that Beamis was driving impaired and a toxicology report is pending.
Deputies say Beamis consented to a drug test and was issued appearance tickets.
