Hammond, O'burg, Gouverneur, Brasher Falls residents charged with drug-related counts

State police say they recently charged five people with various drug-related counts:

• An 18-year-old male from Hammond was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 9:10 p.m. Tuesday on state Route 68 in Oswegatchie.

• Andrew P. Gilbert, 50, of Ogdensburg was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, failure to keep right and felony driving while ability impaired by drugs at 5:55 p.m. Friday on Lovejoy Road in Oswegatchie.

• Gail M. Wylie, 44, of Gouverneur was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 6 p.m. Friday on East Shore Road in Hermon.

• David J. Liscum, 25, of Theresa was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and inadequate lights at 9:52 p.m. Friday on state Route 3 in Clifton.

• Daniel E. Larock, 45, of Brasher Falls was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation at 10:20 p.m. Friday on county Route 47 in Stockholm.

All of them, with the exception of Gilbert, were released with appearance tickets.

Gilbert was being held, pending court action, police said.
