Charged @ 8:45 AM for passed red light on E. Main Street. Subject issued traffic summons returnable to the Gouverneur Town Court.
Sunday, September 10
Andy A. Smith Jr., 26, Gouverneur
Charged @ 10:44 AM on Spencer Street for leaving the scene of a property damage MVA and failure to notify DMV change of address following investigation of a hit and run incident. Subject is alleged to have struck a utility pole at the corner of Rock Island St. and Barnes St. at approximately 2:30 am and left scene without reporting at that time. Subject was issued traffic summonses returnable to the Gouverneur Town Court.
Wednesday, September 13
Richard D. Laplant, 23, Gouverneur
Arrested @ 12:15 PM at 33 Clinton St. as he was wanted on an arrest warrant issued by the Gouverneur Town Court. Defendant failed to appear for arraignment before the Gouverneur Town Court to answer for the original charge of petit larceny on a previous date. Defendant was arraigned at the Gouverneur Town Court before Justice Travis Dann and released under probation supervision.
Brett M. McIntosh, 24, Gouverneur
Arrested @ 2:25 PM on E. Main St.as he was wanted on a bench warrant issued by the Fowler Town Court alleging he failed to appear to pay fine. Defendant was arraigned at the Fowler Town Court before Justice James Phillips and released on his own recognizance.
James L. Ashley Jr., 33, Gouverneur, NY
Arrested @ 4:00PM on E. Main St. and charged with evidence tampering and criminal possession of marijuana. Upon investigation subject was found to have possessed more than 25grams of marijuana and did conceal such behind a utility pole when being approached by the police. Subject was issued appearance tickets returnable to the Gouverneur Town Court.

Arrested @ 2:03PM on N. Gordon St. and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana following investigation of a complaint. Subject issued appearance ticket returnable to the Gouverneur Town Court.
