RUSSELL — A Gouverneur man was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Pyrites-Russell Road April 16, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.

Patrick N. Thompson, no age listed, was charged with aggravated DWI and failure to keep right, officers said.

His blood-alcohol content (BAC) was allegedly .18 percent, which elevates the charge to aggravated, the sheriff's office said.

Thompson was issued tickets returnable to Russell court at a later date.
