GOUVERNEUR -- Gouverneur-based state police charged four Gouverneur residents, including two teens, with firearm possession charges following a larceny investigation that occurred Dec. 21.
Jayda L. Jones, 16, Anthony Montoya, 21, Jeannette M. Lashbrooks, 44, and a 15-year-old female were charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a firearm, Wednesday afternoon.
Lashrooks was additionally charged with with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Montoya and the juvenile were also charged with false written statement.
Lashbrooks was held on cash bail, the others were released on appearance tickets.
Gouverneur-based state police said the arrests stemmed from an investigation involving a larceny from a building.
The incident remains under investigation
