MORRISTOWN -- An electrical fire is blamed for a blaze that left two people homeless on Saturday at 3845 County Route 6, according to St. Lawrence County Fire Investigators.

The home was considered a total loss but there were no injuries as the home was unoccupied at the time of the fire, officials said.

The property was owned by Jeramy Ward and was insured.

Morristown firefighters and rescuers responded to the scene, with Heuvelton and Brier Hill fire departments providing mutal aid.

Rensselaer Falls and Hammond fire departments were on standby.
