Dozen motorists charged in 48 hours in Massena

MASSENA -- Village police say they cited a dozen motorists between Monday and Wednesday:

• Elizabeth M. McGregor, 24, of Bayley Road, Massena was charged with suspended registration at 1:17 p.m. Wednesday on Bayley Road.

• Tonya J. Ashley, 38, of county Route 48, Norwood was charged with unsafe backing at 12:50 p.m. Wednesday on Willow Street.

• Tracy A. Sunday-Cook, 54, street address not available, Akwesasne was charged with speeding at 8:48 a.m. Wednesday on East Hatfield Street.

• Ryan Hamilton, 19, of Highland Park, Massena was charged with no plate lamp at 2:27 a.m. Wednesday on East Orvis Street.

• Rebecca M. Newton, 41, of Elm Street, Norwood was charged with uninspected motor vehicle at 1:26 a.m. Wednesday on Maple Street extension.

• Dean J. Maza, 41, of White Road, Hogansburg was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, inadequate brakelight, unlicensed driver and no interlock device at 9:50 p.m. Tuesday on East Orvis Street.

• Kimberly Baxter, 48, street address not available, Massena was charged with unsafe backing at 4:35 p.m. Tuesday.

• Michael A. Nezezon, 47, of North Raquette River Road, Massena was charged with following too close at 12:25 p.m. Tuesday on Main Street.

• Michelle R. Legault, 23, of Savage Road, Moira was charged with failure to signal and no seatbelt at 11:01 a.m. Tuesday on Depot Street.

• David E. Larose, 58, of Willow Street, Massena was charged with unsafe passing at 9 a.m. Tuesday on Center Street.

• Jacob P. Kellogg, 26, of Amherst Road, Massena was charged with inadequate exhaust at 10:35 p.m. Monday on state Route 37.

• Patrick J. Francis, 78, of Middlebury Avenue, Massena was charged with inadequate headlights at 10:06 p.m. Monday on Center Street.
