PIERREPONT — A Colton man was charged with driving while intoxicated on State Highway 56 on Saturday after driving off the road and becoming stuck in snow, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Justyn A. Fountain, 33, was charged with first-offense DWI and speed not reasonable or prudent, deputies said.
Officers responded to a report of a vehicle off the roadway and following an investigation deputies discovered that Fountain was allegedly impaired.
His blood-alcohol content was .09 percent.
He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Pierrepont court at a later date.
