FOWLER – Charges are still pending the investigation of a two-car motor vehicle accident on State Route 58, near the BOCES center, reports the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies said a vehicle driven by Roland L. Wood, 67, of Edwards, was traveling south on the road, when the car veered into the north land striking a vehicle driven by Jared D. Morrow, 25, of Ogdensburg, head on.
Wood was transported by Gouverneur Rescue to Canton Potsdam Hospital. His injuries were not life threatening, said deputies.
Morrow was checked by Gouverneur EMTs at the scene, but was not injured.
Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene, the sheriff’s department said.
The investigation is continuing.
The sheriff’s department was assisted at the scene by state police and the Gouverneur police, fire department and rescue squad.
