CANTON — A Canton man was arrested for allegedly possession drugs while incarcerated at the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Joshua P. Seidel, 27, was charged with first-degree promoting prison contraband and unlawful possession of marijuana, deputies said.
The alleged incident was reported to deputies on Aug. 3.
Seidel is accused of possession the pot while he was an inmate at the jail, officers said.
He was arraigned in Pierrepont court and released on his own recognizance to appear on the above charged and then returned to the correctional facility, deputies said.
