CANTON – A Canton man was arrested Tuesday following a reported domestic dispute in which he allegedly punched a woman in the face and shoved a St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputy.
Brian L. Brewer, 50, was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree harassment and resisting arrest at 10:20 p.m. at 255 Meade Rd., officers said.
Deputies said Brewer allegedly punched a woman in the face, which resulted in an injury.
Deputies say when they attempted to charge Brewer he shoved an officer and resisted arrest.
He was arraigned in Pierrepont Town Court and released to appear in court at a later date, officers said.
