Canton and Gouverneur residents accused of drug possession in Colton

COLTON — Gouverneur and Colton men were charged with drug possession on SH 56 Sunday afternoon, according to state police.

Kristopher R. Lancto, 41, Gouverneur, was charged at 3:31 p.m. with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, controlled substance in non-original container and unlawful possession of marijuana, police said.

Randy S. Guyette, 28, Canton, was cited for unlawful possession of marijuana at 3:43 p.m., police said.

Both men were cited and released.
