MASSENA -- A 32-year-old Ogdensburg resident is facing burglary and conspiracy charges after allegedly attempting to steal a generator from Wal-Mart Supercenter.
Village Police charged Terry D. Power of 300 Franklin Street with third-degree burglary and sixth-degree conspiracy.
Power, according to court documents, placed a generator in a cart on Nov. 19 sometime around 5:21 p.m. and handed it off to another person who would take it from the store. He is charged with burglary because he has been barred from the store since Aug. 14, 2012.
He could go to state prison for up to seven years if convicted.
