People from Tupper Lake, Winthrop, Massena have been charged with first-offense DWI
A Tupper Lake woman was charged with first-offense driving while intoxicated early Saturday morning, and a Winthrop man is accused of first-offense DWI Friday night.
Tracy M. Burns, 40, was stopped by state police along State Rt. 3 in Fine at 2:44 a.m.
Burns was also charged with driving to the left of pavement markings and failing to notify DMV of an address change.
Wyatt S. Ramsdell, 22, Winthrop was issued tickets on the DWI charge, unsafe movement of stopped vehicle, and failure to use a designated lane after being stopped by troopers at 10:14 p.m. in the Town of Massena.
Christopher R. Lefrancois, 42, Massena, is accused of first-offense DWI, unlawful possession of marijuana, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on a highway, and insufficient tallights after troopers stopped him along South Raquette Road in the village of Massena at 12:41 a.m. Saturday.
