The following local residents were among 344 students from Ithaca College who received degrees during the College's commencement ceremony held in May 2010.
• Karine Russell, daughter of John and Nancy Russell of Newton Falls, received a Bachelor of Science degree from the college's School of Humanities and Sciences.
• Matthew Burrows, son of Ann Burrows of Hannawa Falls, received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the college's School of Humanities and Sciences.
Coeducational and nonsectarian, Ithaca College is a nationally recognized independent college of some 6,300 undergraduates and 400 graduate students.
Located in Ithaca, N.Y., the college offers more than 100 degree programs.
