Hannawa Falls, DeKalb Junction, Madrid residents named to SUNY Cortland dean's list

The following local residents were named to the Dean's List at SUNY Cortland for the Spring 2010 semester.

• Kathryn Leuthauser, a senior adolescence education: earth science major from Hannawa Falls

• Melissa Gardner, a senior speech and hearing science major from DeKalb Junction

• Brooke Sharpe, a senior sport management major from Madrid

Honorees must earn a grade point average of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale while completing 12 or more credit hours of classes during the semester.

SUNY Cortland was ranked by Kiplinger's among its Top 100 Best Value Colleges and Universities in the United States for a fourth consecutive year.

More than 7,200 students are pursuing degrees within the College's 60 undergraduate and 35 graduate academic majors.

SUNY Cortland is home to the largest undergraduate teacher education program in the Northeast.
