Edwards students earns Tau Beta Pi award

EDWARDS -- Ryan M. Davis of Edwards, a senior engineering & management major at Clarkson University, has been awarded the GEICO Scholarship, sponsored by GEICO.

He was one of three Clarkson University students who received 2010-2011 awards from Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honor society.

All Tau Beta Pi Awards are awarded on the competitive criteria of high scholarship, campus leadership and service, and promise of future contributions to the engineering profession.

Tau Beta Pi was founded at Lehigh University in 1885. It has collegiate chapters at 236 engineering colleges in the United States, including Clarkson University and active alumni chapters in 18 cities. It has initiated nearly 514,000 members in its 125- year history and is the world's largest engineering society.
