Two arrested for fighting, another for obscenities in Potsdam

POTSDAM – Two men were arrested this weekend for fighting in an establishment on Market Street and another for yelling obscenities, according to village police.
Police charged Timothy F. Buckley, 27, Brasher Falls, and Leon J. Shorette, 28, North Lawrence, with disorderly conduct-violent behavior at 9:35 p.m. Nov. 6. Police said they were involved with a physical altercation with a patron. No injuries were reported, police said.
Meanwhile, Shane R. Curtis, 35, Potsdam, was charged with disorderly conduct-obscene language/gestures at 2:20 a.m. Nov. 7 after he was observed walking on Market Street yelling obscenities, police said.
