Potsdam police charge nine for disorderly conduct, variety of traffic infractions

POTSDAM – Village police charged nine people for disorderly conduct a variety of traffic infractions Saturday and Sunday.
Those charged included:
-- William L. Rafferty, 22, Ogdensburg, disorderly conduct-violent behavior, at 1:37 a.m. Nov. 1 on Market Street, after he was observed shoving another male subject.
-- Joshua R. Centrella, 19, Massena, unnecessary noise-yelling and unlawful possession of alcohol with intent to consume, at 12:40 a.m. Nov. 1 on Main Street.
-- Joshua D. McGregor, 20, Potsdam, unnecessary noise, at 4:40 p.m. Oct. 31 on Main Street, for excessive engine noise.
-- Matthew P. Konecnik, 19, Waterford, disorderly conduct-creating a hazardous condition, at 12:15 a.m. Nov. 1 on Main Street, after he was observed walking with a traffic cone allegedly taken from a construction site.
-- Dustin Blake, 32, Parishville, speeding, at 9:44 a.m. Oct. 31 on Pierrepont Avenue, for driving 48 miles per hour in a 30 mph zone.
-- Tiffany T. Fiacco, 23, St. Regis Falls, failure to yield right-of-way to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, at 12:46 p.m. Oct. 31 on Main Street.
-- Robert W. Murray, 25, Potsdam, passing through red light and operating a motor vehicle while using a cell phone, at 2:48 p.m. Oct. 31 on Market Street.
-- Kayla E. Bisnett, 18, speeding, at 5:41 p.m. Oct. 31 on Sandstone Drive, for driving 48 mph in a 30 mph zone.
-- Matthew P. Viani, 19, Valley Stream, operating motor vehicle without seat belt, at 12:58 a.m. Nov. 1 on Bay Street.
