St. Lawrence County IDA approves $90k loan to Slic
CANTON -- The St. Lawrence County IDA Local Development Corporation has approved a $90,000 loan to Slic Network Solutions, Inc.
The funds were part of $180,000 in financing assistance the IDA is packaging to assist the company with the expansion of its broadband and network services to the Ogdensburg and Brasher Falls areas. The IDA said that a the company expands, it will be retaining eight jobs and creating an additional two.
“This is not our first loan to Slic,” said IDA Chair Brian Staples. “We have worked with them before, and are happy to work with them again. We think they are a company with a proven history and a bright future and we’re proud to continue to support their growth and diversification throughout St. Lawrence County.”
