To the Editor:
I am writing to ask the Town of Hopkinton voters for their continued support for me as supervisor in the general election on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
It takes time and knowledge to gain the experience to serve in this capacity. Having previously served as a town board member and currently, supervisor, I am confident that my skills and background will continue to contribute to our town’s growth.
Like all towns and villages, the biggest challenge remains finances. However, we have made careful, informed decisions and are constantly reviewing our equipment and maintenance needs. Working together we have established reserve funds that can assist in working towards our goals.
I am constantly searching for outside resources to help the town in any way possible. A recent example was by working with Senator Little’s office for funds to repair the museum and library. We are awaiting the final contract approval so this work can start before winter.
I would encourage our community to be aware of, and participate in, our local government. Get involved. Let us know your opinions. And, please support me in my bid for reelection.
