To the Editor:
I moved to Norwood from a small city three hours from here.
While my husband is from Norwood and was familiar with a small town atmosphere, I was not. I was unsure how I would fit in and meet people who would be open to me.
I attended an event at the Norwood Public Library and a library board meeting to see how things worked up here. Right away the staff at the library made me feel at ease and at home.
The board members welcomed me and my experiences.
I want to thank the library staff, volunteers, members and board members for making me not only feel like I can make a home here in Norwood with my family, but I can be a part of an amazing community.
