To the Editor:
On behalf of the members of the Canton Area Zonta Club, I write to express our thanks and gratitude to those who attended our annual wine tasting event during the 2017 Canton Winterfest.
Special thanks go to Randy LaMay of River Myst Winery in Ogdensburg, to Bill Longshore of Morley who provided our music for the evening, and to the Edward C. Seymour Post 1231 VFW on Gouverneur Street in Canton for hosting the event.
All proceeds from the wine tasting support the club’s scholarships given each year to local high school students preparing to enter colleges and universities in the fall.
