To the Editor:
Every citizen in the county who has access to a computer should help the Town of Waddington in its national competition for first place in the Ultimate Fishng Town Competition. Their victory will be a boon for St. Lawrence County and the whole North Country.
To promote tourism and strengthen our economy, we must make people aware of the beauty of our region and the recreational opportunities we can provide. Winning this contest will tie in well with St. Lawrence County Chamber’s FISHCAP initiative.
I ask you to log on to wfnfishingtown.com/town/waddington.ny and vote up to four times a day.
The Potsdam Town Board will be passing a resolution of support for this initiative at a special meeting on May 25.
