“We the People” have spoken!
This election was a clear message to our county government. I am truly proud of our electorate that recognized the need to become engaged and put an end to the downward spiral brought upon us by tax and spend progressive liberals.
Congratulations to our new county leadership! It has been a long time in coming.
Now the real hard work begins. There are sources we can utilize to force the state to end unfunded or partially funded mandates. These mandates are truly an unnecessary burden on our local property taxpayers. It is not unprecedented for local government to push back and win this battle.
With a clear majority it can now be a reality. It will not be easy but it can be done. I will share a very important message with our newly elected county government from a founding father that recognized Individual freedom to be the success of our Republic!
In short, let us that earn it keep it! If we adhere to this message our local economy will prosper as never before! “We the People” are the answer to our economic woes not government!
A wise and frugal government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. Thomas Jefferson
