To the Editor:
In response to “Slippery Moral Slope for Sex and Christianity” which ran in the Aug. 6-12 edition of North Country This Week: You are so ignorant and way off base when it comes to homosexuality.
Maybe you had better educate yourself on the subject before you spout your benighted views.
Educating ones self on a lesser-known subject really makes a difference. You could start by speaking with someone who is more knowledgeable on the subject, it could be your neighbor, your bank teller, your doctor, your dentist, your gas pump attendant, drug store clerk, hometown postman, anybody.
Yes any one of these people could be gay.
Does it matter? We are all the same inside. We love the same way you do. We have families, friends, dogs, cats and we pray to the same God.
Please do some research on the subject before you liken us with pedophilia and bestiality.
Oh, look up the fact that most pedophiles are heterosexuals, not homosexuals. Educate yourself!
