The 24th annual “Seniorama” was held Aug. 12 at the Roos House, SUNY Canton. The beautiful facility was enjoyed by al.

This year we had vendors from area businesses, hospitals, credit unions, county agencies, home care businesses, insurance companies, nursing homes, optometrists, audiologists, entertainment organizations, pharmacies, political representatives, public utilities, senior organizations and support services for seniors.

A big thank you to all the vendor and businesses that took out ads in our booklet, and those that contributed the many door prizes that were given out throughout the day. Your continued support for seniors is greatly appreciated. Seniors were able to talk one on one with many participants and receive info and goodies about each.

Thank you to the Canton VFW Post 1232 for leading off our opening ceremony, to Diane Foote for a beautiful national anthem, to Town Supervisor David Button for our opening prayer and welcome from the Town of Canton, and to SUNY Canton President Zvi Szafran for his welcome to the college.

Thank you to the band Time Line and the group The States for entertaining us throughout the day.

Congratulations to Ralph Johnson for winning the lottery ticket frame, hope you had some big winners. “Seniorama” 2015 would not have been a succ

ess without the help from chapter members who helped get ads, tables, door prizes, sold raffle tickets and helped that day.
