Volunteers big part of Easter egg hunt success

To the Editor:

The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce would like to thank everyone who participated in the Annual Easter Egg Hunt held on Sunday, March 29 at the Dobisky Visitor’s Center.

Hundreds of children searched for eggs, met the Easter Bunny, had their face painted and had a snack.

The Easter Egg Hunt was generously sponsored by Hoosier Magnetics, Jones Insurance and Fidelis Care. A special thank you to Kimro’s Medicine Place who donated the chocolate bunnies as the prize for the Golden Egg winners: Caylee Ford, Austin Meashaw, Ava Pierce, Sophie Cryer, Kadence Yerdon and Parker Briere.

A big hug and thank you to the Z-Club led by Melanie Flack (and Connor) who provided the Easter Bunny and face painting; Lisbon Central School students, Fayeanne West, Tashuana Shoefell; Ogdensburg Free Academy students, Elizabeth Sovie, Faith Compo, Tamika George (Easter Bunny) and Bridget Paige. I am sure your parents and the Ogdensburg Zonta Club are proud of your service and commitment to the community!

A heartfelt thanks to our Chamber Board Members, their families and friends who volunteered their time to assist with the Easter Egg Hunt, Melissa Lalonde, Frankie Miller, Ellie Hitsman, John Pinkerton, Alexandra Pinkerton, Breana O’Halleron, Julia Stevenson and Michele Catlin
