To the editor:
I am writing in regards to the nomination and possible election of Nick Sheehan for Potsdam village trustee.
I have known Nick Sheehan since we were kids and I know that he has a strong understanding of what it takes to get things done.
He takes on a large amount of responsibility with his professional career and he would treat his role as a village trustee equally and with the same amount of discipline.
I may not live in the village of Potsdam, and cannot vote for my Mr. Sheehan, but I do care what happens with the village, being born and raised in the area.
I think Mr. Sheehan would do a tremendous job if he were to be elected. He has a firm grasp on the issues at hand and I think some progressive points of view would do the board some good.
I highly recommend that the voters take a look at what is happening within our village and make a decision with the village future in mind.
