To the Editor:
Our so-called Gov. Cuomo, the know it all, that gave us the illegal and unconstitutional SAFE Act is supposed to be giving $100 million to improve St. Lawrence County and local town roads.
This is most likely an election year: look what I did gift.
At the same time the federal highway improvement fund is wasting $3.3 million on milling grooving 475 miles of rural road.
Does it make any sense to cut up roads you just spend $100 million to repair? Why not use the $3.3 million to repair more miles of rough road?
This sounds like the usual federal grant, throwing money they don't have at a non-existing problem.
