To the Editor:
On behalf of Parishville-Hopkinton Backpack Program, we would like to thank U.S. Customs and Border Protection at the Massena Port of Entry for their extremely generous donation of food to our program.
Their Feds Feeds Families Program allowed for this large contribution. Our backpack program at PHCS sends home a hearty bag of fixings for meals to families who request the service.
This is the second year that they have helped our Backpack Program to be a success. They delivered the food donation to our school, helped us to unload the food and were exceptionally kind and accommodating.
Thank you for thinking of us and our community!
Erin Casey, Therese Baxter and the PHCS Backpack Program
