To the Editor:
I am the past Chief of the Russell Fire Department and would like to know when they are going to replace the corner stone with the Time Capsule.
It was removed as part of the 50th anniversary celebration with the promise that it would be replaced with contents and additional papers.
At present the hole in the wall was covered by a garbage can and now a large plant.
It is a disgrace to the memory of past members and has been like this for five years.
