Two Rivers Ecumenical Council serves C-P, PHCS school districts

Posted

The Two Rivers Ecumenical Council, (TREC) is an all volunteer, non-profit organization designed and operated under the direction of a board of clergy leaders and lay people from churches in each of the four communities it serves in the Colton-Pierrepont and Parishville-Hopkinton school districts.

Supported through charitable donations, TREC operates strictly through volunteer work with no overhead and no salaries to pay. All donations to TREC are used for the purpose of helping people who demonstrate a need and it is a resource for individuals and families who qualify to receive assistance with heat, cooking gas, rent, and electricity.

Over its seventeen years in existence, The Two Rivers Ecumenical Council has had many opportunities to work in an environment that is ecumenical and beneficial to our region, though religious affiliation is not a matter of consideration in who receives help. We acknowledge any and all who come to us in our district; our goal being to take to heart the importance of caring for each other.

If you would like to know more please contact TREC at the following email address: trec2015@yahoo.com

Or call the Colton-Pierrepont-Parishville Neighborhood Center at: 315-244-0060 to be referred to the Two Rivers Ecumenical Council .

If you would like to make a donation to the two Rivers Ecumenical Council you can send it to: TREC, P.O. Box 67 Colton, NY 13625
