To the Editor,

I would like to publicly thank everyone who helped with the AAK Middle School production of “How to Eat Like a Child”. Musical productions are a lot of work.

The support and help of many, make all of the work more rewarding and beneficial for all of the students involved. The students at AAK worked very hard to put on an absolutely wonderful musical and all of their effort truly showed.

Thank you first, to all of the parents who love and support these wonderful students. It’s students like these that make teaching what it is supposed to be – a joy and fulfilling. Thank you also to the parents for transporting students to and from rehearsals and for helping to find and gather props for the show.

Thank you to Christine Sullivan – accompanist; Kate Cruikshank – advertising, tickets, misc.; Mary Clary – advertising; the PCS custodial staff – Steve Spears, JJ, Duffer, Nancy, and Hope; John Jadlos and his assistant Greg Jadlos – sound; St. Lawrence Central Music Department; Tom French; Jill Rubio; Marge Warden; Ms. Eileen Visser; SUNY Potsdam Theater Department, Jeff Reede and Jay Pecora who donated a spot light and theater boxes; as well as Val Foote and Tilly Adams who helped with the production; Jamie Cruikshank for his administrative support; and an especially big thank you to the Sixberry family (Kelsey, Rory, Kim, and Randy) and Great Northern Printing whose generosity in donating their time, talent, sets, and t-shirts is always so greatly appreciated.

Lastly, I would like to recognize Patrick Brady and the Potsdam Central School Board of Education (Ralph Fuller, Dr. J. Patrick Turbett, Jim Bunstone, Mary Ashley Carol, Ann Carvill, Chris Cowen, Dr. Mark Frascatore, Thomas Hobbs, Patrick Regan) for their continued support of the music department and the performing arts at PCS. Without their support, productions like the Middle School production of “How to Eat Like a Child” could become a thing of the past.
