To the Editor:
Thanks to all… Now that the dust has settled over the political arena, I wish to thank all Canton community voters who took the time to come to the polls and support their choice of candidates.
It is important, as I see it, that we take care to select our leaders based on knowledge, skills, experience, and dedication to the work at hand. We are charged as a community to take care of this small portion of the nation, to maintain or improve the quality of life, and focus upon the future. To the leaders currently serving and to those preparing to serve, I sincerely wish them luck.
In closing, as your superintendent of highways, I and the highway crew remain dedicated to the job, behave as professionals in the field, and are always approachable for questions or concerns. And as well, the Canton Town Board, and I continue to hold the line on taxes. We focus daily on keeping the township of Canton an affordable place to live and raise our families. Again, thank you for all your support, both in the past and the future.
Terry L. Billings,
Canton
