To the Editor:

The family of Ethel Anderson of Ogdensburg would like to express our deep gratitude for the many acts of kindness and support that we have received following her passing.

The words of comfort, thoughtful gestures, cards, beautiful flowers, food, and donations made in Ethel’s memory have been a great comfort and meant so much to our family.

A special thank you to the many friends and family that surrounded Ethel and helped to make her life so wonderful over the many years.

Our gratitude to the wonderful staff at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center: Dr. Seidman and Dr. Jaitly, all of the nurses, technicians, aids, cleaning staff, occupational therapists, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, and X-Ray technicians, thank you for your excellent and compassionate care.

Thank you to Father Shurtleff, Notre Dame church, and all those who assisted in the funeral service, to Frary’s Funeral Home for their compassion and professionalism, and to all of those who attended the calling hours and funeral service.

It was a comfort to see so many people show their love and respect.

Our gratitude to Terry Axtell and the staff of Club 1812, Bill and Maureen McNally and the staff of The Place, and the many friends and family who gathered and helped to make Ethel’s ‘Celebration of Life’ so special.

Ethel will live on in the hearts of all those whose lives she has touched.
