To the Editor:
I have known Mary Rain for almost 30 years as a police officer, city attorney and prosecutor.
She has been an advocate for crime victims and has been relentless in pursuing justice.
Mary has years of experience in handling child abuse, drug cases, gang activity, assault, and sex crimes.
Her knowledge and command of law and criminal procedure is impressive, as is her court record. She is a respected attorney who is regularly sought out for advice by colleagues in the criminal justice system.
There are few district attorneys who can boast the experience that Mary has: police officer, prosecutor, municipal attorney, defense attorney, chief public defender and law enforcement instructor.
Mary’s integrity, expertise, and diversity of experience make her an outstanding candidate to serve the residents of St. Lawrence County as their next district Attorney.
