To the Editor:
The Wounded Warrior Outdoor Adventures and our soldiers would like to thank the following sponsors for assisting financially in our first Annual Warrior Run Challenge.
The day was a major fund raising effort to assist all our wounded veterans and their families.
A special thanks to Clarkson University President Tony Collins for hosting our event and leading the Clarkson Army ROTC through the 3.2 mile mountainous course of mud, fire and water.
Thank you to our three major sponsors: St Lawrence Health System, Brookfield Power and Walmart for major financial contributions to the run.
In addition, we are grateful to the following sponsors who assisted us: Eben’s Hearth, NYSCOPBA, American Legion Post 925, American Legion Post 68, AMVETS Post 4, AMVETS Post 265, Canton VFW, Norwood Kiwanis, Community Bank, North Country Veteran's Association, Chris Goebert, Mary Ann Ashley, Bailey's Ford, Al Smith's Superette, Bob's Auto, Barstow Motors, Buck's Funeral Home, Snell All Season Contracting, Blevin's Yamaha, JE Sheehan Contracting Corp, TJ Fiacco Contruction, Sam's Party Tents, Graymont Concrete, Harvey Excavation, AJ Missert, Nate Plantz Signs and Horsefeathers Haunts.
Last but certainly not least, thank you to all the volunteers and competitors that made our event a complete success with lots of blood, sweat, and tears but mostly smiles.
