To the Editor:
The Norwood-Norfolk Central School Snack Pack Program has begun another year of helping students supplement their food needs over the weekends.
The program came about as a result of a collaborative effort on the part of Mary Ellen Todd and the Norwood Kiwanis. The program is a success because of the many volunteers who faithfully help with packing the snacks every Thursday. They are discreetly given to the identified children by teachers for the weekend.
This program is a community effort supported by donations from caring groups, churches, businesses, and individuals in our communities. Without their support this program would not be there for the children in the Norwood/Norfolk/Raymondville area.
If you would like to give to this wonderful program, please send your monetary donation to Norwood-Norfolk Snack Pack, Attn: Denice diVincenzo, 31 Prospect St., Norwood, Y 13668. Put Snack Pack on the memo line. Monetary donations are tax deductible.
Mary Ellen Todd
President of the Snack Pack Program
