To the Editor:
As a parent with two children that went through St. Lawrence Central, I don’t want to see programs disappear.
But worse yet is when I see the public’s voice overridden by a few people who seem to think that they know what’s best for us.
When they feel that they can change an open and free vote (the backbone of our American values and democracy) just because the vote didn’t go their way, no wonder people don’t get out and vote anymore, why bother when it doesn’t count?
Just who do they think they are when they can do whatever they want and the heck with the rest of us?
That budget was voted down twice at the will of the people.
Is this what they teach in school now? Shame on the whole school board.
