To the Editor:
I think the school supplies survey last week was one of a handful of surveys that should be required reading anyone who pays school taxes.
The survey comments were mostly serious, seemed honest with the exception of a couple of miscreants with only garbage to relate, and well intentioned. It's unfortunate there weren't more than the 167 respondents because I think it paints a good picture of how tax and school-poor our North Country is.
While none of the responses really surprised me, I found myself in good company there; a lot of the comments were excellent in my opinion.
