To the Editor:
My name is Kylie Pinkerton and I am a teacher and co-advisor for the Foreign Language Club at Colton-Pierrepont Central School. Recently your newspaper/website published our advertisement for a spaghetti dinner to raise money for our trip to Europe in 2015. We had an overwhelming turnout and show of support and I wanted to print the following thank you in a letter to the editor. Thank you.
Thank you so much to Sergi’s in Potsdam, Price Choppers in Canton and Potsdam, Cindy’s Cake Shop, the Sugar Shack Bakery, Ames’ General Store in Colton, Kunoco in Colton, the county chamber of commerce, and The Canoe Place for donating food, supplies, or gift cards to raise money for the Colton-Pierrepont Foreign Language Club trip to London, Paris and Madrid in 2015.
The donations far surpassed our expectations, we had an overwhelmingly successful turnout and we are thankful to everyone.
Kylie Pinkerton, Danielle Edwards
