To the Editor:

To the family and friends of the Sanfordville Cemetery Association: we are asking for help with donations for the upkeep of the Sanfordville Cemetery.

In past years, we have been able to use the accrued interest from our account to pay for most mowing expenses As you know, interest rates are very low and prices continue to rise.

Most recently, we purchased a new sign, made repairs to the lawn mower and repairs to broken monuments. New trees were purchased to go across the front of the cemetery as well. All of these were included in the general maintenance and upkeep of the cemetery.

We currently have enough money. However, with lower interest rates and the inflation cost of services, mowing and other maintenance, etc. we are concerted that in the future our funds will be depleted.

Please consider making a cash donation to help us maintain the cemetery, as we have always done, to honor your family and friends.
