To the Editor:
On behalf of the Clarkson Garden Club and the Potsdam Garden Club we would like to thank Kevin Blanchard of Willow Tree Florist/Landscaping and Daryl Kolanko of Potsdam Agway for donating plants to our annual plant sale held at the Potsdam Town Hall Community Room on May 3.
The Double Red Knock Out Rose Raffle from Willow Tree was won by Sharon Whittier of Norwood. Agway’s colorful flats of Snapdragons, Marigolds and Alyssums all sold very quickly.
The sale netted $1,311 for the Potsdam Humane Society for operational expenses.
